Originally from Lexington, Massachusetts, I earned my degree in Visual Communication from The George Washington University before packing up my portfolio and heading west. I eventually landed in Seattle, where I built my business, Artifex Design, Inc., and raised two nearly grown sons. When I’m not working, I’m a competitive and social dancer (I wrote and illustrated The Dance Guide) or riding my bike. Most of my mornings start with strong coffee and the NYT Spelling Bee.
